Standing at 16 hands tall this black beauty is about to turn 100 years old!

Well-groomed at its age especially as it made of wire and paper mâché.

Originally purchased by Joe Cowan through the Eaton’s catalogue in 1924, delivered in 1925. Joe Cowan’s Harness shop which was originally in Wellandport until 1923 when a fire forced him to relocate to Dunnville and this is where the horse was used as a model to display the harnesses which Joe would make and sell.

We welcome all non-perishable food donations to share with our community.
