INCO BARN
This barn was used for farming and stayed within the Swayze/Davison family for 4 generations. It was quite normal for farms to be in the same family for decades.
Today the barn reflects its original use for farming.
Fast Facts
- Built between 1850 - 1900 this barn was located in Humberstone Township (Port Colborne)
- The original settlers , the Swayze family, were from Germany
- The Davison family (daughter of Swayze ) farmed until 1996
- Donated by the International Nickel Company
