Sadly, on August 23, 2018, one week before the Festival opened, fire destroyed the Minor House.

Fast Facts

  • Originally constructed in 1842 on the south side of the Feeder Canal in the Village of Wainfleet.

  • Known as the Postmaster house as several postmasters lived there over the years

  • After the last owner Gerald Minor died the family home was donated by the Minor brothers
