MINOR HOUSE
This 1842 home was owned by Dr Marshall and then by Gerry
Minor. The Minor family kindly donated their family home to
Marshville in 2005. After taking many years to partially restore it,
we were ready to open it in 2018 when one week before the
Festival, fire destroyed our beloved Minor House. Fortunately, now in
2025, with some very kind donations, we are ready to begin the
rebuild of this historical Wainfleet home. If you are interested in

- Originally constructed in 1842 on the south side of the Feeder Canal in the Village of Wainfleet.
- Known as the Postmaster house as several postmasters lived there over the years
- After the last owner Gerald Minor died the family home was donated by the Minor brothers
