As we successfully end our 34thannual Marshville Heritage Festival we would like to thank everyone who made our event a success.
To our visitors, from near and far, thank you for making the time to come experience our village and get a glimpse into the life of the 1800 & early 1900s. We trust you had a great time, and we look forward to seeing you next year.
The experience of Marshville would not be possible without a great group of volunteers. A special thanks to the “grounds crew” who maintain the buildings, set up the grounds and create the transformation to the village you see when you come. This groups spends weeks and without them we could not have the festival.
Many other volunteers are required to run the festival and without them we would not be able to continue our yearly tradition of the festival. To all our volunteers, who span generations, we thank you. We also look forward to seeing you again next year. Please spread the word that we always need volunteers. Students, we do provide you with your school volunteer hours.
We have many generous donors who provide antiques for the buildings, demonstrations and rides for our visitors, plus those who donate products and the tools we need that enable us to run the festival efficiently.
We have not listed names as there are so many we rely on. Just know it truly does take a “village” of time and dedication to make the festival a reality.
A heartfelt thank you.
See you next year at the 35thAnnual Marshville Heritage Festival!
